Search Queries
A name or location entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or record those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained long enough to review and answer it. Messages remain within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive routine technical information about that visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device to help measure how visitors move through the website, including popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers combine that traffic information for review. A browser can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some features work.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Early County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its published material identifies request routes through the Early County Sheriff, local court clerks, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Georgia Crime Information Center, and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not turned into a consumer report or a third-party criminal-record profile, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies power the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Because each partner controls its own retention and disclosure practices, review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff pages, court portals, Georgia agency websites, legal-aid resources, or outside search tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may use their own systems to follow activity across websites for interest-based advertising. We do not operate that tracking.

Personal data is not sold. Information may nevertheless be disclosed to these limited categories:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security measures are used to protect collected data. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure, however, so protection against every breach cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and personal information from anyone under 18 is not knowingly collected. If a minor's information is identified, a deletion request may be made through the contact channel.

Rights under applicable Georgia privacy and consumer-protection law may extend beyond this summary. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§50-18-70 through 50-18-77, governs requests to Georgia public agencies, not this private resource. O.C.G.A. §35-3-34 separately governs dissemination of Georgia criminal-history information by GCIC. Depending on the law that applies, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
